Looking back

I am not too sure what has been going on with me lately. I have found myself looking back over the past year or 2 and wanting to reconnect or "set the story straight" with a lot of people that have come into my life and left. My big issue is getting over the hurdle of going from "watching from afar" to "talking". I watch their blogs, see their names come up on AIM and all but just cant get myself to talk. Not all of my relationships ended the way that I have wanted them too. I dont think that many of them do for all of us not just me. I really hate it when someone just assumes they know everything. I know quite well that there are 2 sides to every story. I have enough on 1 set of friends that I could destroy their marriage if I wanted too but I am not about doing that. I have a hard time with people thinking something is my fault. I need to build up my self confindence and get over that hump. I just want people to hear my side of the story. I am not about ruining someone's life. I have had enough ups and downs in my life I know how they can be. I am not the only one... I dont feel the need to tell everyone my premi daughters story. She was a premi end of story. I dont feel the need to tell everyone how traumatic my second delivery was either. That is between me and my family. I dont feel the need to tell everyone all my cancer battle, diabetes, broken neck or any of the other storys that have made me into the person that I am today. I support a lot of causes, I climbed the carew tower in Cincinnati, OH for the American Lung Association to help stop lung disease. I take part in the Polar Bear Plunge for the Special Olympics but I dont feel the need to have that all take over my life. We all have to work with our kids in special ways. There were premi's born before my little girls and there will be after. It is a part of life. We can work on advancing medical knowledge but there are some things that can not be prevented. Ok...enough... I had to vent.... Stressful day!!!

Another wonderful day!

Its just another wonderful day in Kentucky! Have been up since 0415 due to a 911 call and the patient being critically ill. Returned to service in the county I work for about 0615 and needed fuel... The fuel pump was amazingly slow and it took 20 minutes to pump 25 gallons of gas... Got back and have to be up by 0730 (fire house rules) so needless to say no point in going back to bed. Went to the doctors appointment at 0830 returned home got my girls and their dad left to go to work and here I am now, tired! I have had a cappacino (however you spell it) 3 cups coffee and 2 diet mt dews. I have come to the conclusion I have a massive caffine addiction... Lord help us all! It all comes with the job. I can not imagine doing anything else, well other than being a mom 24/7. It is fun to have a fun time with work and have a balance in family life as well. Oh well... I got the 6 month old sleeping and my 2 year old is being super quiet... I need to investigate wish me luck!!!

Just a little about me and why im here....

I am a 25 year old mom of 2 girls under 2. I am also a firefighter EMT with a local fire dept. which I love and wouldnt change for anything! My life has thrown some unexpected twist into my life that I did not see coming nor could have prepared myself for. Looking to meet other moms, get advice and share with people and build friendships. I was born and raised in northern kentucky and have never found it in my heart to leave. Thought about it once but never did it. I have Taylor who was my premi and is now 2. Small for her age but she makes up for her size with her attitude. Morgan is almost 6 months. She was my chubby suprise child I did not plan on having. Juggling mom life, work life and mending a broken marriage has taken its toll on me. Looking to build some of the things I feel I have lost. I am very active in the community. I am a 4 year Polar Bear plunger and did my first Climb the Carew in Cincinnati this year. I love being active! It keeps me sane....
